Happy Sunday, friends! Stacey here. I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for spring – the warmer weather, blooming flowers, and lavender-infused cocktails. Yet these snowy weekends leave me wondering – where the heck are you, lady spring?! Do we need to file a missing-persons report? Well, we can’t control mother nature, but we can control our décor, so let’s start from the inside out with 3 spring-inspired gallery walls that are sure to invoke some cheery vibes.
Gallery One // Nordic Spring
Gallery One is all about soft simplicity. Florals and abstract landscapes are created in muted pastels - peaches, pinks, and violets, adding a dose of color without being overwhelming. Don’t be afraid to add unconventional elements into your gallery walls! Branches, ceramic tiles, wall hangings – anything can be used as an art piece, and will add additional personality, texture, and interest. Here, a large, abstract deer bust grounds the collection, its light wood reminiscent of new spring growth.
Gallery Two // Modern Pop Spring
Pop goes the poppy in this bright, graphic arrangement! Cheery pinks and oranges take center stage, while the gray sun and black frames tame the sweetness. An edgy brass and wood wall hanging help bring the graphic elements – ahem – full circle while adding a cool, unexpected twist.
Gallery Three // Vintage Spring
When I think spring, I imagine green grass and light blue skies. In this collection, colors are saturated yet soft, with blue and green as the common threads. I’m kind of obsessed with the rolling hills and fields in print 2 - they are just so happy, don’t you think? The brass wall hanging (from Anthropologie) mirrors the arcs/circles in prints 1 and 5, and adds a nice dose of girlie bling.
Well, there you have it. 3 looks to brighten you home, your day, and your outlook. I don’t know about you, but I am getting a little sick of staring at the same art day in and day out (I’m seeing A LOT MORE of it these days!). I think springing into Spring just might be the perfect pick-me-up!
